How To Do Cute And Pretty Eye Makeup For School

How To Do Cute Eye Makeup For School How to do natural yet simple and pretty eye makeup for high school ?

You want to look cool and casual, but not too made up when you go to school and how you apply your makeup plays a big role in this. Too much makeup can make you look like you are trying too hard, or even worse – old! So, rather go for a natural look with soft tones and subtle colors, which will make you feel great! Once you have gone through the regular routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing your face, which should be done every morning, you will then apply your foundation, concealer if needed and perhaps bit of bronzer for a subtle tanned look.

Now onto the eyes, which are the most important part of applying make up and they are the ‘windows to your soul’, and you want to make a statement without saying a word!

1. Sleek Eyebrows- Often forgotten, eyebrows frame the eye and give your face symmetry and balance, so it is important they are kept neat and sleek. Avoid plucking your eyebrows for as long as you can, as a natural look is far better at this age. Define your eyebrows with a soft brown eye pencil and use clear mascara or special eyebrow gel to keep them smooth.

Expert Tip: Vaseline works just as well for keeping those stray hairs in place!

2. Add Some Color- When applying eye shadow, choose colors that are soft and natural. Avoid applying heavy, ‘block’ colors, such as grey, black, purple or dark blue, as this will cause you to look ‘overdone’ for school. Soft bronzes, browns, creams or pale shimmery gold are great for an all-day, a natural look.

Expert Tip: Apply a different color in the crease of your eyelid for a super-stylish and on-trend look.

3. Magical Mascara– This is probably the most important product in your makeup bag as it can change the look of your face with one swish. Apply a clear mascara first to thicken and lengthen your lashes and then apply brown or black mascara in slow, even brush strokes. Apply one or two layers – any more than that and your lashes will begin to clump – not a good look for school! For extra-dazzling eyelashes, curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler before applying your mascara.

Expert Tip: If you don’t want to use mascara, simply apply a dab of Vaseline to your eyelashes, which will lengthen them and give them a subtle shine.

4. Define Your Eyes- Last, but not least, give your eyes some definition with eyeliner. Using a brown or black eyeliner on the lower water line and upper eyelid rim really makes eyes ‘pop’ and gives them great definition, however if you prefer a more subtle look, go for a soft pink or silver for a shimmery, natural look.

Expert Tip: Dab black eyeliner in between your lashes for a fabulous, eyeliner-free, natural look.
